Dell Latitude 10 St2 Install Windows 7
Hey Everyone, I've recently acquired a tablet to pilot with my company. It is a Dell Latitude 10 ST2, and my issue is I'm trying to install our corporate Windows 8.1 image on to the machine, but having no luck so far. I've done some research and have found a few things out on how to create a bootable USB here: As well as on the Windows 8 Forums here: The problem is the Dell Tablet (and my.iso file) are 32-bit versions of Windows 8.1.unfortunately the Dell Tablet can only support 32-bit versions due to hardware constraints. So I can't use rufus like the Windows 8 tutorial discusses above. Anyway, I've been trying to create a bootable USB for a few days now, and have had no luck.
If anyone can offer me any assistance, or point me to some documentation, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Asif. I know this is from Oct, so you probably already solved it, but.

I have a Dell latitude 10, with windows 8, which is not an updated version of windows 7. So I have not the usual BIOS, but something named UEFI. About the differences between these programs I know nothing. The problem is that I cann't boot up of an USB-drive, where the.iso of Ubuntu 12.04.2 is installed.
I used Diskpart to create a bootable thumb drive. It is simple, easy, and quick. Another big question is what format is your corporate image in? I used the following link to create a custom diskpart script. I then followed their link for Applying using a deployment script to apply a wim file to the correct partition on a Latitude ST2. It works pretty well. You need to build a Win PE (min 4.0) boot drive.
I used a docking station because it was easier. You need to connect a powered USB hub, so you can have the boot disk, keyboard, portable HDD, etc.
I modified my WinPE to start to a menu, then added Explorer++ to the boot.wim. This will act like Windows Explorer within Win PE. I launch a command prompt type diskpart /s (drag diskpart config file name here) to configure the disk. Then Drag ApplyImage and the.wim file name into the command prompt window. I have use the basic Windows 8.1 install.wim and a customized image for this. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. The hardest part was that the drivers don't load, so download the chipset driver from Dell and install that FIRST after bootup.
This actually installs most drivers. Then install any other missing drivers using Dell's ST2 Cab file. If you just download the CAB file, and search it for driver update installs, you will find one that will turn it into a brick.back to square one. French Dictionary Free Download Pdf.
